Besides its focus on the economic theory, the program provides a practical insight into the functioning of companies operating on local, regional, international and global markets. A special attention is paid to international entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial attitudes and new venture planning. The leading scientific discipline of studies is Economics and Finance, with Management and Quality Science as the auxiliary discipline. The innovative programme of studies is recognized worldwide and follows actual International Business trends.

International Business graduates are able to analyse the economic and business environment from a global perspective, develop functional strategies for sustainable organizational performance and apply theoretical knowledge in Economics in the context of managerial decision-making and analysis of economic trends. These qualities open career paths in international corporations, companies operating on international markets, NGOs operating worldwide and trade departments of diplomatic missions.

Advantages of the field of study

The program of International Business balances the academic knowledge with soft and hard practical skills in the field of economics and business. It provides the Alumni with a scientific apparatus to gather data to lead research in economics, to provide solutions of complex managerial problems and enhance individual entrepreneurship. It also responds to the needs of Cracow’s labour market, where an important number of international corporations located their global operations centres.
